Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) Print Reading - March 22 through May 3 - Hybrid Online (Live Instructor & Self-Paced)
This is a hybrid course that allows you to complete, at your own pace, reading assignments, on-line courses, and workbook exercises during the week (approximately 3-4 hours per week), and connect LIVE weekly with the Instructor, and other learners for a 1 ½ hour “Live Learning Lab” to review workbook answers and ask questions.
This course builds upon the foundation basic print reading skills by adding further understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Skills learned in this course will be utilized throughout your construction career and include reading and understanding different types of heating and cooling systems, HVAC symbols, electrical terms, electrical schedules, electrical drawing types, plumbing systems, plumbing fixtures, plumbing diagrams and you will be able to explain the three stages of plumbing installation.
The text was written, and the course is taught by experienced commercial construction professionals and utilizes an online learning platform that organizes materials and content that is available two (2) years after you complete the course.

Steve Hultin graduated from Colorado State University with Bachelor and Masters of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and spent his career on both the design and facilities side of the HVAC business. Steve spent 30 years at CSU and served as the Executive Director of Facilities Management at CSU. Steve enjoys sharing his MEP experience and has done so since 1990 by lecturing / teaching in the Construction Management program at CSU. His experience provides a unique opportunity to speak solidly about mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Steve grew up as a son-of-a-plumber and still loves to ski and hike when he is not teaching his two grandsons about renewable energy through their on-site solar photovoltaic and wind turbine model.Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP...Date and Time
